Dan Violette announced as 2019 IEPEC Lifetime Achievement Award Winner

Dan Violette, PhD has been awarded the 2019 Lifetime Achievement Award winner by the International Energy Program Evaluation Conference (IEPEC) board.  This biennial award is given to a member of the evaluation community who has consistently provided significant contributions to the energy services field.  The award was presented at the 2019 IEPEC conference in Denver, Colorado.

The energy industry recognizes IEPEC as the leading conference on evaluating products, services, and programs. The 2019 conference continues the organization’s strong commitment to presenting peer-reviewed rigorous evaluation and useful research results. The Lifetime Achievement Award is given to a member of the evaluation community who has taken a leadership role in the energy services evaluation field encompassing programs and policies in energy efficiency, demand response, pricing and integrated DERs (distributed energy resources).

“Dan is a recognized leader and futurist in the electric power and gas industry.  His ability to collaborate among analysts, decision-makers, experts, and other stakeholders is unparalleled and has redefined effective evaluation.  Lumina is fortunate to have someone with Dan’s vision and experience running our Energy Sector practice.”, said Max Henrion, Lumina CEO.

Dan’s industry experience includes serving three elected terms as Chair of the Association of Energy Services Professionals (AESP), co-founding the Peak Load Management Alliance (PLMA) and served three terms as a member on the Smart Grid Advisory Council of the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA).
